Robinhood named its own media arm Sherwood News. Sherwood is not our metaphor — it is their vocabulary. Stagwood lives on Robinhood Chain because that is where Sherwood already is.

HOW IT WORKS

$STAG is a fixed supply ERC20 of 5,000 whole tokens on Robinhood Chain (id 4663). There is no mint function and no burn function.
When your balance crosses a whole number upward, a stag id is assigned to you from the bank with a fresh random seed. Crossing downward releases your newest stag back to the bank.
The seed rolls everything: coat, eyes, mouth, wardrobe, and the rack's destiny. Art renders fully on chain in the tokenURI.
Hold duration grows the rack: spikes → classic (day 3) → great rack (day 21) → ancient (day 90). Selling resets the clock for the next holder and rerolls the art.
Marketplaces index the herd through a read only ERC721 facade. Stags cannot be approved or transferred there — they move only when the coin moves.

*The token admin's only powers are marking market contracts exempt from holding stags (only possible while they hold none) and renouncing. It cannot touch balances, supply, ids, art or clocks. It exists so the StagVault can be wired in phase 2, then it is renounced. An independent style cold audit log ships in the repo.

KNOWN EDGES, STATED PLAINLY

Buying right before a rare seed is a game anyone can play — that is the rarity mine, by design. Held stags never reroll.
Very large transfers churn many ids in one transaction; if you move hundreds of whole $STAG at once, split the transfer.
Exchange and contract custody does not hold stags — keep whole tokens in self custody to keep your herd.
